According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 59% Pakistanis say Kulsoom Nawaz is a good choice to replace Nawaz Sharif for the NA-120 seat’s election. 41% say otherwise.
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “After Nawaz Sharif’s disqualification, his wife Kulsoom Nawaz would be contesting the vacated NA-120 seat’s election in his place. Some people think this is a good decision by PML-N. Others think it is a bad idea. What do you think?” In response to this question, 59% said it is a good decision while 41% opined it is a bad decision by the PML-N.
