POLITICAL MEETINGS CAN EXPECT LARGE CROWDS: 44% of male adults expressed their intention to attend political meetings

A recent Gallup poll shows that nearly a third to half of male adults in the Pakistani cities intend to go and listen to public meeting address by prominent politicians. Public meeting arranged by the People’s Party, Muslim League and Jamaat-i-Islami are expected to receive the largest crowds. A good proportion of the population is also keen to participate in politics by way of helping to organize a political meeting and participating in a procession (Jaloos).
