According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, Only 42% cite Pakistan’s national interest as key factor in choosing between Obama and his challenger Mitt Romney; others cite global economy (24%); global security (11%); competence and like ability (18%) and 5% were unable to cite any reason.
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked. If you were to vote in American elections and choose between President Obama and Republican candidate Mitt Romney, what would be the most important reason for making your choice? (Give one answer) Responding to this, 42% chose national interest, 24% chose global economy, 11% chose global security and 18% chose competence and like ability. However, 5% did not give a view.
