Nearly 1 in 5 Pakistanis claim to have encouraged others to vote; 50% said they have never done it and do not think that they will ever do it as well: World Values Survey and Gallup & Gilani Pakistan

According to a World Values Survey conducted by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan in 2018, 17% Pakistanis claim to have encouraged others to vote; 50% said they would never encourage others to vote and 22% said that they might.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the four provinces was asked the following question, “Have you actually encouraged others to vote, do you think you might or would never under any circumstances encourage others to vote?” In response to this question, 17% said ‘have done’, 22% said ‘might do’, 50% said ‘would never do’. 11% did not know/did not respond.
