According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, most Pakistanis have a view on American Presidential candidates. But neither is very popular: 12% favor Obama, 11% favor Romney, 55% say it makes no difference. Only 22% showed ignorance or did not give a view.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked. The candidates for the US Presidential election in November are Barack Obama of the Democratic Party and Mitt Romney of the Republican Party. Who would you prefer to see elected president of the US? Responding to this, 12% are in favor of Barack Obama as next US President, 11% favor Mitt Romney whereas 55% believe it makes no difference. However, 22% did not give a view.
