According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan 75% are highly (38%) or mildly (37%) skeptical about the power of their vote in national elections.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked. Do you agree or disagree that currently the country is facing extreme problems and that your vote will not make any difference? Responding to this 38% appear to be Skeptics; they completely agree with the statement that their vote will not make any difference considering the extreme problems being faced by the country at the moment, 37% are Partial Skeptics; they somewhat agree with the same statement. On the other hand, 18% are hopefuls; they believe that their vote can make a difference no matter how extreme the problems are at the moment. However, 7% did not give a view.
