According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 13% of Pakistanis would vote for Obama if they were to vote in American Elections; 9% for his opponent Romney. Most (47%) would vote for neither or say it makes no difference.
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked. If you were to vote in American Presidential Elections, who would you vote for? Responding to this, 13% of Pakistanis said they would vote for President Obama, 9% said they would vote for his challenger Mitt Romney, 26% said they would vote for neither and 21% said it did not make a difference. However, 31% did not give a response.
