According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan 62% believe voter turn-out can rise if electoral candidates are better educated and competent.
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, In your opinion, if more skilled/better educated and competent candidates take part in election, will the voter turn-out increase or will it make no difference? Responding to this 62% believe that more people will vote whereas 30% believe that it will make no difference. However 8% did not give a view.
