According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 56% Pakistanis believe that Electoral System should change but elections should be on time.
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked. Some people think that electoral system in Pakistan is really bad, no good political leaders come from it therefore there should be no elections till the system changes whereas others believe that election should be on time and system should be changed gradually and over time. What is your opinion about this? Responding to this, 32% believe that electoral system should be changed first and then elections should take place while 56% believe that elections should be on time along with change in electoral system. However, 12% did not give a view.
